Celebrity Dog Bowl Auction Helps Keep People and Pets Together

Bowl Project 2011 will launch on December 5, 2011 as an online charity auction featuring one-of-a-kind ceramic dog bowls hand-painted by some of today's biggest celebrity animal lovers: Paula Abdul, Ellen DeGeneres, Betty White, Jessica Simpson, Jane Lynch, Chelsea Handler, Cindy Crawford, William Shatner, and many others. Each bowl is signed by its celebrity artist with a personal message.
Proceeds from the auction will help fund the programs and services of PAWS/LA, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization that assists more than 1,800 low-income elderly and people living with life-threatening illnesses keep and care for their beloved pets. The 2010 event raised more than $35,000.
