Bowl Project 2011 will launch on December 5, 2011 as an online charity auction featuring one-of-a-kind ceramic dog bowls hand-painted by some of today's biggest celebrity animal lovers: Paula Abdul, Ellen DeGeneres, Betty White, Jessica Simpson, Jane Lynch, Chelsea Handler, Cindy Crawford, William Shatner, and many others. Each bowl is signed by its celebrity artist with a personal message.

If you aren't familiar with Brian Griffin, he is the talking dog on the Family Guy show who enjoys the life of a human, with all of its benefits and vices.
Brian Griffin is an 8-year-old talking white Labrador who has lived with the Griffin family since Peter picked him up as a stray. He also possesses various anthropomorphic qualities, such as the ability to speak intelligently, drive a car, and walk bipedally. Although Brian is quite the mess, succumbing to just about every known human vice, the Life of Brian is the envy of all furry, four-legged creatures. According to a new survey conducted by Fox to celebrate the Season 11 release of Family Guy on DVD, Brits love to spoil their dogs rotten. In fact, almost two thirds of British dog mamas and papas treat their pooches more like humans than pets. And we thought we had it good here in the US!

Perhaps it isn't that bad, but Gomez is clearly in love with her new puppy, a Husky mix named Baylor. Little Baylor found his furever home when Gomez visited the D'Arcy’s Animal Rescue Center in Winnipeg MB, Canada while on tour.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were here this afternoon playing with the dogs and puppies for over an hour. They expressed an interest in adopting one of the dogs. They were both very down to earth and friendly. [Member of Rescue Center Staff]
This isn't the first time Gomez has adopted a pooch. She has collected quite the pack to date.
