Dog Interrupts Soccer Game and Wants to Play
Aug 16 2012
Some dogs have all the fun! This past Tuesday in Bogotá, Columbia's "El Campín" Stadium, a dog invaded the pitch and provided some comic relief with about 20 minutes left to go in the match between Colombia’s Santa Fé and Brazil's Botafogo. The home team was up 4-0 so perhaps this fur brother was just a little too excited and couldn't contain his jubilation. He bobbed and weaved like a world class soccer star without a ball, eluding players, refs and anyone else who tried to corral him.
At one point some crazy human came at him with a red plastic bag. Our fur brother was captivated at first but sniffed out the trick as he was led to the edge of the field. Smart pup! The fun ended when he decided to climb back into the stands to enjoy the rest of the game.
Our soccer loving Brazilian friends created a game in his honor. How long can you, "Cachorro Louco," evade capture? Go fetch after you watch the video. Ole, Ole!
