Lucky the Dog and Escape Artist Caught On Dog-Cam

Aug 16 2012

Lucky the Dog is an adopted stray who is loved by her humans; howlever, Lucky always seems to find a way out of the house and into trouble when they leave her alone. So what does a good human do in a situation like this? Well, if your are desperate enough, you attach a video camera to your dog's collar. Fortunately for Lucky's humans, the video camera is waterproof!

Follow Lucky on her adventure in the video above as she struts across the backyard to the shore line, swims about 40 feet to the neighbor's yard, jumps 3-4 feet up out of the water to the dock, and runs through the neighbor's yard to freedom. But that isn't the end of Lucky's adventure.

She is wandering along the neighborhood street doing what us dogs love to do best when her humans drive by on their way back home from running errands. Lucky watches the car drive by, and knowing she isn't supposed to leave the house, gives cautious pursuit. As the car disappears from view, she picks up the pace. Along the way, Lucky is tempted by a promising trash can where she scores a nice doughnut! She then scampers to the neighbor's house to grab some barbecued ribs. Apparently, John the neighbor often treats Lucky to some barbecue after one of her adventures.

I guess if Lucky wasn't so distracted on the way home, she would have gotten home before her humans. But where is the fun in that? Take the scenic route I always say. As it turns out, after seeing how street smart Lucky is, her humans are letting her continue her local adventures. Great humans, great neighborhood, great dog!

Two paws up to Animal Planet for this furtastic story in the Bad Dog series!
