Pet Pawfection

According to the Toy Retailers Association, a game centered around a pooping dachshund is expected to be one of the hottest selling toys for Christmas this year. Made by Goliath, Doggie Doo is already a hit in Germany where it is known as "Kackel Dackel."

The toy dog has a leash with a pump on the end. You feed him a play-doh like substance and press the pump several times before he poops it out the other end. Along the way, it makes all sorts of wonderful, disgusting sounds.

So how do you play the actual game? There is a page online that explains the rules but they are pretty simple. The game starts with everyone grabbing a shovel to collect the poop. The youngest player rolls the die first. Depending on the result, the player will pump a certain number of times, lose a turn or exchange shovels with another player. The first person who collects three pieces of dog doo on the shovel wins.

Who ever thought humans would make a game centered around a pooping dog? Be the first kid on your block to own this gem for about $20-$25.
