World's Oldest Dog Dies in Japan at 26 Years Young

Pusuke, who was certified by Guinness last December as the oldest dog alive, passed away peacefully this week from what appears to be natural causes. This amazing fur brother was 26 years and 9 months young, the equivalent of 125 years in human terms.
Pusuke refused to eat and was having difficulty breathing the morning of his death. He died later that afternoon about five minutes after his human mama came home. "I think he waited for me to come home," said Yumiko Shinohara as she recalled the many years and great memories Pusuke gave her.
